Continuing my obsession with natural beauty and makeup, here is something I didn’t think was possible - an all natural blush! I’ve made blush before but always used mica. Well this blush is made from…beetroot powder! I hope I’m not the only person who found this surprising (just lie to make me fell better alright?!). There’s directions on how to dry out your own beetroot to turn into powder or you can purchase it (a quick Google search turned up about a million hits, I’m sure you can find it!). There’s some great tips on how to change up the colour to suit your skin too. I’d love to know if anyone has used beetroot blush before? How long does it last?

Recycle Plastic Bottles into Ottomans for Some Extra Seating Space
We all require some extra seating in our house and for that ottomans are ideal. You can make your own ottomans too by recycling plastic bottles. To start with first you have to join plastic bottles with the help of scotch tape in a circular shape. After that cut two cardboard discs equal to the diameter of the bottle circle and put them below and on top of the bottles. Secure them at their place with plastic sheet. Then cover all the sides of this cylinder with foam sheets. Sew an inner cover for the ottoman from any fabric. Sew a top cover too and voila!

You can try a square shape too like this one. Enjoy crafting!
I absolutely LOVE lemonades and fresh fruit. I went to this wonderful cafe, Ms. Dahlia’s Cafe, with one of my best friends in Brooklyn. I had the best cucumber lemonade in life! I immediately went on the hunt to find a recipe. in my search, I came across a great blog, A Beautiful Mess, that has some amazing recipes for lemonades. I had to share. So here you go, enjoy, and I WILL POST MY OWN CREATIONS…after the snow melts.
I think that is all the reason you need to want to make this super adorable cutie pie. If you click through you’ll find that her name is Jan and her squishy sister is named Marsha.. Get it? *distant laughter*
